Padok's Challenges

 

Padok is a service company specializing in cloud and cybersecurity. They build resilient, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructures for their clients.

They enlisted Make the Grade to address four challenges: modernizing their brand identity, creating a website designed for conversion, developing a site optimized for SEO, and empowering marketing teams to independently create new pages.

Regarding the brand identity, Padok historically used purple as the primary color, with blue and green as secondary colors. The teams wanted to retain only purple as the main color.

A revisited graphic charter

To meet the brief, Make the Grade designers came up with three color variations: Violet and Blue, Violet and Orange, Violet and Raspberry. The colors were designed for gradients. The choice fell on the Violet and Raspberry gradient because it allowed them to stand out from the competition while retaining the tech codes.

A site designed for conversion

The site was then designed to convert, with a choice of main and secondary CTAs prominently featured on the pages, and forms at the foot of service pages. The tree structure was also reworked to lead the user to the conversion pages. And numerous reassurance elements have been added: customer cases, customer testimonials, partner badges, certifications obtained, ...

Finally, a "Tech Radar"-style lead magnet has also been developed to demonstrate Padok's expertise in some fifty Cloud and DevOps technologies. This tool is interactive on the site, but also takes the form of a more detailed white paper. This content is a real reassurance of the company's expertise on these 57 technologies.

An SEO-optimized, easy-to-use site

Once the mock-ups were complete, the development work began, with the aim of a malleable back-office for the marketing teams and maximally optimized SEO performance. Make the Grade developers provided Padok's teams with a tailor-made customization of their back-office. And they implemented all the SEO best practices such as Lazy Loading, code minification, etc.
