EHL Group copes with the rapid digitization of the education sector

EHL Education Group is a higher education school offering academic and professional training programs, as well as business consulting services. By placing innovation at the heart of its development, it has become one of the key players in the hotel and hospitality professions.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, both the hospitality and education sectors had to show resilience to rapidly reinvent themselves. This was reflected in the digitization of courses and corporate services. EHL has therefore overhauled its various websites, starting with ehl.edu, which boasts over 300,000 sessions per month.

The EHL Group's 3 major challenges

  1. Digitize all the Group's services to continue to provide student courses, internal and external events, and make the catering and tourism sector attractive.
  2. Create flexible, easy-to-use modules so that marketing teams can quickly update the site and promote the digitization of services.
  3. Build a scalable site with a test & learn approach.

Developing flexible modules adaptable to the needs of marketing teams

Based on the technical specifications for each module, we have developed a number of advanced functionalities. These help to highlight important information, enhance calls to action and accompany visitors on their conversion journey. These include:

  • The layout of the various elements making up the module to prioritize information: text, images and videos
  • The spacing at the top and bottom of the module so that it can be combined with other modules while respecting UX design
  • The background to facilitate reading between the different information on the page: solid color, image, video
  • Content type to guide visitors through navigation and highlight call-to-action buttons: text, image, CTA, video, link
  • Text alignments for design flexibility: vertical, horizontal
  • Image size and format for easy adaptation without retouching: height and width, with or without ratio

The modules have been designed to give teams flexibility. They respect the group's webdesign graphic charter and the user's browsing experience. Javascript and CSS code are optimized to increase page loading speed and improve SEO performance.

Deployment on the EHL Group's 3 HubSpot portals

No fewer than 75 modules have been tailor-made to meet all the needs of the college and respond to a major digitalization challenge.
