The challenge

The challenge was to create a new website to match Padok's ambition. The 3 major challenges of the site redesign:

1. Modernizing the site with the creation of a new graphic identity
2. Create flexible, easily editable modules for content integration on the HubSpot CMS

How did we respond to these 3 major challenges?

1. Creating a new graphic charter

To redesign the website, we created a new colorful graphic identity by working on gradients. The aim was to give the site a modern, unique style, while maintaining the expert feel of the platform. The mix of blue, purple and red was worked on to stand out from the competition and create a strong identity. We also designed 50 new pictograms adapted to the new charter to harmonize the whole site and make it more intuitive.

2. Making the site flexible and modular with HubSpot CMS

With the aim of making Padok teams autonomous on the site, we created simple, easily editable modules. With each page creation, we took the time to explain and train the teams in content integration. This sharing of skills is essential if teams are to be able to update the site completely independently.

3. Making a high-performance site for SEO

To ensure good positioning on search engines, and mainly Google, it's essential to have an optimized, high-performance site. To achieve this, the technical dimension is essential. That's why we've implemented several actions to reduce page loading times as much as possible:

• Use of AMP on the French and English blog
• Enable lazy-loading on all site images
• Optimized Hn structuring
• Separate CSS and Java Script to make the site faster
• Add pagination to have all articles directly accessible and avoid crawl depth
• 100% of web pages are optimized for responsive
• etc.

The redesign of the site has enabled Padok to move into another dimension. All the actions carried out enabled Padok's hypergrowth to be accompanied by a high-performance site that complies with Google recommendations.
